Ombre furniture

I am always on the lookout for a new trend that is classic, simple and easy to do. Being able to renovate and use a bit of creativity on furniture is something I am very much a fan of and I love buying pieces and doing them up! So I am currently on the hunt for a few pieces I can start to plan for. Luckily I have already found my look, I have been seeing a lot of pieces on the market in this style, and it has also graced fashion and hair styles so safe to say it’s pretty popular. Ombre means shadow or shaded in French, this beautiful trend is essentially a light shade going to a dark, in hair it’s often brown roots with blonde tips. In furniture this trend looks brilliant and is so effective. I have found a few of my favourite pieces, one of the best for me is the Anthropologie bench just below in a beautiful blue. I love this effect especially on wooden backed chairs, it can really bring an old piece to life! Once I have found the perfect piece I will definitely be trying this style out.
