First off, absolutely massive apologies too you all, I have
had an insanely busy week full of Uni work and have not even had time for a
cuppa, let alone blogging! But you will be glad to hear that I have handed in
all my work and now am as free as a bird to talk to you guys about my cheeky
finds. So to welcome you all back to my ramblings, I want to share with you
these amazing prints from New North Press. They are a letter press studio in
Hoxton who specialise in experimental typography, and I love this version of
Bodoni (for all the graphic nerds out there, probably the best serif typeface …ever…in
my opinion). It is collaboration between the press and Nigel Bents' BA Graphic
Design Communication students at Chelsea College of Art & Design. This
particular poster is also the handy work of the New North Press’ placement
student Kaia Moore. I love the mix of the redesign of this classic font and
a beautiful print. You can see all the info here and can buy the print for £60,
but be fast they are limited to 100 copies!
