Cut Brooklyn

I love watching mini documentaries about all sorts of random stuff, peoples lives, their hobbies and random factoids. I find myself sitting in bed at 12 just hitting plays on all sorts. Last night I watched this insanely inspiring video all about Joel Bukiewicz, designer, creator and genius behind Cut Brooklyn. Based in a small studio surrounded by other creatives, Joel started making Knives when he took a break from writing. He soon found a hobby which he not only thoroughly enjoyed but was also awesome at. He soon founded the company Cut Brooklyn who make bespoke knives, for a range of different things but in particular cooking. I love the idea of having an individual knife that has been carefully considered and made to perfection. Each piece is a testament to his dedication, and I find his attitude to work so refreshing. This video is so inspiring and makes me just want to get creating! Thankyou Joel!
