As I'm sure you know I live in a rented
flat, so I am always on the look out for simple ways to make a rental
look unique without miffing off the landlord! One thing which is
always an issue is lighting, obviously you can't take down their
lights and fit your own (unless you can be bothered) But these lights
from Toast could be a pretty good solution! They are a simple fabric
flex cord with a bare hand stitched filament bulb design. The end is
fitted with a plug, so you can just plug it in and away you go! The
cord is 300 cm so you can get a bit creative and hand them from the
ceiling easily. I love the idea of having 4 or 5 in different colours
all hung on hooks around the room.
