Roots Spirits

I admit I'm not a massive drinker, I occasionally like a glass of wine or a cheeky pint but I'm not big on spirits. However, I could be persuaded by Roots spirits, a distillery based in Southern Greece. Each bottle is full of 100% natural liquor and just reading the description makes me dribble! Their Rakomelo blend is full of honey, with a touch of cinnamon and cloves. It sound like THE perfect drink to have warm by the fire at christmas time. Plus each bottle is beautifully designed by Bob Studio, a studio based in both London and Athens. I love this modern approach to drinking with shed loads of class.

Wind and Willow Home

I am in love with this bowl! It has it all, I just wanna put some fruit in there and be smug at how beautiful it would look on my kitchen table! It's from Wind andWillow home, who have a large collection of home accessories including cushions, plant pots and vases. What I love most though is that they have a whole section for 'Dipped' products. What's that? It's essentially bowls, candlesticks etc, dipped into paint just like fit neon bowl is. How could it get any better I ask myself? They have glittery bowls/candlesticks. Yes I repeat...glittery!! These candlesticks are just to die for...and who thought that glitter could be so classy!!

Jarrod Lim - Hi Ho rocking horse

This absolute beast right here is the Hi Ho rocking horse, lovingly designed by Jarrod Lim. Lim designed this modern day take on the traditional rocking horse a few years ago for Innermost. Now granted, it might not be what you would call a traditional classic, but for me it is certainly going to be one! That seamless transition from the victorian style rocking horse to the modern contemporary piece of furniture which is fit for any home has been done with complete grace and poise. The design is both mature and childish at the same time. Unfortunately it is not suitable for kids (bummer!) but Innermost have announced they will be making a smaller version for kids in the near future! Yay!

Thinkk - Foldo Lamp

Ahhh – the perfect blend of simplicity, functionality and fitness! This lamp is actually just my dream! It's so simple – has no frills whatsoever but still holds the gaze. It has that pop of red cable at the back to give it a little somethin-something. The shade is made from one piece of folded steel to create an elegant silhouette . This is held down by a plain pale wooden base which accentuates the warmth and soft light that beams out. It's from Thinkk, a design studio based in Bangkok. It is part of a collection called 'Workaholic', which includes some stunning concrete plant pots and pendant lights.

The Hungry Series - Embroidered artwork

I am completely in love with this series of embroidered artworks from Michele Varian. They are not only adorable but make me squirm with a strange pleasure/gross feeling. It's called The Hungry Series, each piece is of a different large animal and the contents of his stomach. So for example (my favourite) the whale who swallowed a shark, who swallowed a peg leg captain, who had earlier eaten a crab, who had just caught a fish! The style is simple with just clean outlines and a little colour, but it's completely perfect!

Rokos 13° 60° 104° Wine Decanter

I must admit I try not to drink too much wine, but sometimes I just can't resist a cheeky glass. This decanter right here is the one, not only is it a brilliant piece of engineering it's also fun and functional. The Rokos decanter tips to angles of 3°, 60° and 104°, each time you pour a glass the angle changes. It doesn't just do this for funsies either, wine needs to breathe in order for it to be at the best quality. But how often can you open a bottle and let it breathe for an hour without glugging it? Not very often. The decanter encourages oxygen into the wine meaning it breathes faster and more effectively than a standard decanter. This is a brilliant addition for any dinner party host's kitchen, combining the best way to serve wine and a wonderful piece of design engineering!

Hay - Mega Knit

I knew this would happen. The throw obsession continues today with this lil beaut from Hay. It's called the Mega Knit, and ohhhh it's so mega! It's inspired by a traditional Norwegian sweater design which was originally designed by Marius Genser. The pattern has been enlarged and given a refreshing colour injection to create an absolutely gorgeous textiles piece. The simple use of corals and purples are perfect for spring and create a lighthearted addition to a chair or bed. It just cannot be described a anything but delightful!

Kate Mae Designs

I was having a browse on Pintrest when I saw this adorable little set up for a nursery. I love the bold orange highlights with those soft tones of grey, they complement each other beautifully. Then I spotted that cute little modernist mobile and I thought “When I have kids – that's happening!” I had a little hunt and found them on Etsy, they are from Kate Mae Designs. I think it's weird for me to get one for my house now – but I'm really tempted! I love the bold, simple design that works for any baby...or adult?!

Oyyo Dhurries

I have that strange feeling that I am about to become obsessed with a new craze. It happened with copper, it happened with ombre, it even happened with prints. Now it's about to happen to throws. I keep seeing them, loving them and maybe accidentally buying them! And these little stunners from Oyyo are right up my dhurrie street! Each dhurrie is hand woven near Jodhpur are is loving made using techniques and skills that date back centuries. Owners Lina Zedig and Marcus Åhrén combined their love for print and pattern to create Oyyo in 2011, and have gone from strength to strength creating beautiful pieces fit for any home. They will be opening up their online store in May 2013 and I can't wait!!

Brooks bike accessories

It was about a week or so ago that I shared the Pedal pod with you, now my weird craving for a bike continues with these pretty fancy accessories from Brooks. They do bike seats, bags, baskets the lot and all of them are darn stylish! I still don't have a bike and know damn well if I got one I would be too terrified to ride it, but I like the thought of having one on a fancy hook with fancy accessories...is that bad? In particular I am eyeing up their bootiful selection of saddles, each one is loving designed and made, perfect for any type of riding you do. However, they are $230 a pop – a girl can dream!
